Renishaw has fully automated its key Raman products. All important moving assemblies are motorised and equipped with position or angular sensors. The WiRE™ controlling software knows the position or angle of each key component and can adjust it without manual intervention.
This automation simplifies instrument operation for the user. With just one click of the mouse you can change configuration without any need to manually change or fine tune components.
You can save time by using Renishaw's WiRE software to queue multiple experiments. For example, you can instruct an inVia confocal Raman microscope to run two mapping experiments; the first using a visible laser excitation, and the second a near infrared laser. You can then leave it to run unattended, enabling you to operate your instrument to maximum effect overnight or over weekends.

The full automation also allows our dedicated support engineers to rapidly and efficiently diagnose any problems, fix them, and optimise alignment.
Should you wish to, it is possible to interchange some key components manually; providing even further flexibility. Renishaw's kinematic mounts ensure you can swap these components with ease and accuracy.
