QC10 to QC20-W upgrades

With all the benefits that the QC20-W wireless ballbar gives you, we think you will want to upgrade.  To make this as easy as possible the kit structure and pricing is aimed at giving you the lowest possible entry cost to QC20-W use by offering a 'basic upgrade kit' plus other accessories and options as separate upgrade kits or parts. You only have to pay for the functionality you need.

• QC20-W basic upgrade kit.

The lowest cost entry to QC20-W.  Trade in your existing QC10 transducer unit and get the new QC20-W basic upgrade kit for less than half the cost of a complete new kit.

The basic upgrade kit gives you a QC20-W ballbar, battery and BB20 software (including manuals), setting ball, machine validation cards, calibration certificate, tools and new magnetic mounts.  The packaging even fits directly into your QC10 case (post 2001 metal framed cases only).

Extend the functionality and portability of your QC20-W with the following options:

• QC20-W partial arc kit

Consists of a modified centre mount assembly and tool cup extension. This allows you to carry out the 220º partial arc test with your QC20-W. The ability to carry out tests in all three planes (XY, XZ and YZ) without moving the centre pivot greatly simplifies set up for such testing and enables a true volumetric analysis for the first time.

• QC20-W system carry case 

Now you can carry your small circle accessory kit and VTL adaptor in the same case, with their own dedicated locations.

 

• QC20-W small circle adaptor

The existing QC10 small circle accessory kit (SCAK) cannot be used with the QC20-W. If you already use the QC10 SCAK, just purchase the new adaptor, which is a simple screw mount to the QC20-W body. You can retain your existing 50 mm calibrator.

ML10 to XL-80 upgrade kit

A single kit that includes everything that you need to upgrade from ML10/EC10 to XL-80/XC-80.

The upgrade kit includes :

• XL-80 laser kit
• XC-80 compensator kit
• XL mounting stage (and adaptor for compact or standard tripods)
• LaserXL™ system software

Up to 25% discount

The kit is available at a significant discount from the list price of the individual components when you return your existing ML10/EC10 and PC interface (PCM10/20 or DX10)

Agilent/HP trade-in kit

Aimed primarily at users of HP5529 and earlier Hewlett Packard (now Agilent) laser systems. The Renishaw XL-80 laser is backwards compatible with most HP optics and set-ups (except straightness and squareness) allowing existing users to retain their investment in optics as well as existing work and test procedures.

The upgrade kit includes:

• XL-80 laser kit
• XC-80 compensator kit
• XL mounting stage (and adaptor for compact or standard tripods)
• Universal tripod base
• LaserXL™ system software

The kit is available at a great introductory price on an exchange basis when you return your HP laser head and control/interface unit.

Refurbished lasers and compensators

There are many reasons why you may want an additional Renishaw laser or laser system.

• To use as an emergency standby system or unit.
• For use on dual axis calibrations on an occasional basis.
• To help develop a business whether at initial start up or when "stepping-up" to the next level.

However you may feel the cost is too high and be looking for a cheaper alternative to a brand new Renishaw laser or compensator.

Depending on availability, Renishaw can now offer factory refurbished ML10 and EC10 units (with sensors), all less than 10 years old, that come complete with warranty and new certification certificates. Even if you need a complete system you can make a substantial saving just on these two items.

Prices and warranty vary with unit age and condition. Please ask for details. Refurbished units are not eligible for use with ML10 to XL-80 upgrade promotions.
